Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla or French vanilla cake mix
- 1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a medium mixing bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the cake mix using a fork until the mixture becomes crumbly. Set aside.
- Spread both cans of strawberry pie filling evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Slice the cream cheese into thin pieces and layer them evenly over the strawberry filling.
- Sprinkle the crumbly cake mix mixture on top, spreading it to cover the surface.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
- Let it cool slightly and serve it warm, by choice with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
