1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla or French vanilla cake mix
1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a medium mixing bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the cake mix using a fork until the mixture becomes crumbly. Set aside.
Spread both cans of strawberry pie filling evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Slice the cream cheese into thin pieces and layer them evenly over the strawberry filling.
Sprinkle the crumbly cake mix mixture on top, spreading it to cover the surface.
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
Let it cool slightly and serve it warm, by choice with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
