Ingredients :
1 + ½ lbs shrimp.
12 tablespoons unsalted butter.
½ large onion.
4 cloves garlic.
½ cup Worcestershire sauce.
3 tablespoons hot sauce.
½ cup beer.
½ lemon.
1 sprig of fresh thyme.
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary.
2 sprigs fresh oregano.
1 tablespoon garlic pepper.
½ tablespoon cayenne.
1 tablespoon pepper.
Salt to taste.
Parsley.
Green onion.
Instructions:
Wash shrimp in cold water and drain, keeping shells for flavor.
Melt ½ cup butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion for 3-4 minutes until soft, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Mix in Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice and beer.
Chop rosemary, thyme, and oregano leaves; add with Bayou Seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add shrimp and blend into the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Remove from heat and stir in 3 tablespoons butter until melted.
Garnish with parsley or green onion. Serve with crusty bread or rice.
