Ingredients :
- 2 cups packed baby spinach leaves
- Handful parsley leaves and stems
- 1 medium green apple, rinsed with core removed
- 1 large seedless (hothouse or English) cucumber, rinsed
- 1-inch length piece fresh ginger, scrubbed clean
- 1 small lemon, seeds removed
Instructions :
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Slice the apple, cucumber, and ginger into thin pieces that can easily pass through the juicer.
- Remove the yellow peel from the lemon while keeping most of the white pith and juicy center. Cut it into slices, discard the seeds, and set aside half of the lemon to tweak the flavor later.
Step 2: Extract the Juice
- Switch on the juicer and gradually add the ingredients, alternating between leafy greens (parsley, spinach) and firmer ingredients like apple, cucumber, and lemon.
Step 3: Adjust for Taste
- After juicing everything except the reserved lemon, give the juice a stir and taste it. If you want it tangier, add the remaining lemon.
- If the juice turns out too sour, balance it by juicing a whole unpeeled carrot or another apple without the core for natural sweetness.
