Ingredients
For the muffins :
- 2 cups plain flour (all-purpose).
- 1 cup granulated sugar.
- 1 tablespoon baking powder.
- ½ teaspoon salt.
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
- ½ cup milk.
- ¼ cups vegetable oil.
- ¼ cups melted butter.
- 2 large eggs.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
For the cinnamon sugar topping:
- ¼ cups granulated sugar.
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
- 2 cups whole milk
- ¼ cups melted butter.

- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Apply grease the muffin cups for easy release after baking.
- Mix dry ingredients:
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and granulated sugar until well mixed.
- Mix wet ingredients:
- Grab the bowl of wet ingredients and pour it into the bowl of dry ingredients. Slowly mix until combined.
- Fill the muffin cups:
- Evenly split the batter among the muffin cups so they’re about ¾ full.
- Bake the muffins:
- Put the muffins in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Insert a toothpick to ensure it is totally dry. Leave them to cool.
- Prepare cinnamon sugar topping:
- In a small bowl, lend the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. In another bowl, melt the butter.
- Coat the muffins:
- Top the warm muffins with the melted butter then directly dip into the cinnamon sugar mixture.
