Cheesy garlic chicken wraps

Cheesy garlic chicken wraps feature juicy chicken, a melting blend of cheeses, and garlic flavor, all wrapped in a crispy tortilla.

Notes

Ingredients:

For the chicken:

  •   2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  •   1 tablespoon olive oil.
  •   1 tablespoon garlic powder.
  •   1 tablespoon onion powder.
  •   ½ tablespoon paprika.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste.

For the filling:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded.
  • 3 cloves minced garlic.
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened.
  • ¼ cup sour cream.
  • 4 large flour tortillas.
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves.

For cooking the wraps:

  •   2 tablespoons butter.
  •   1 tablespoon olive oil.

Optional Garnishes:

  • Chopped fresh parsley.
  • Parmesan cheese.
  • Red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Instructions:

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  2. In a frying pan, heat olive oil and cook chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side, until fully cooked (165°F/74°C).
  3. Let rest for 5 minutes, then cut into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, garlic, cream cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Stir in shredded chicken until well mixed.
  6. Place tortillas flat, add spinach leaves, and place cheesy chicken mixture in the center.
  7. Roll tortillas up tightly.
  8. Heat butter and olive oil in a frying pan
  9. Cook wraps, seam side down, for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and crisp.
  10. Serve hot with marinara or ranch sauce for dipping.
